The Dirty Dozen meets Honk Kong kung-fu action cinema, and all for the best. Sammo kicks ass all over in a flick about a bunch of imprisoned misfits sent on what’s supposed to be a suicide mission. Hot chicks kick ass in this one. Note to American directors: let some hot chicks kick ass please. THIS makes me excited about the rumored Inglorious Bastards (crossing my fingers than Grindhouse didn’t hurt QT’s hopes of making that - loved Grindhouse, btw) since QT will, without question, find a way to work an ass-kicking gal into the mix.
