QT5 - Quentin Tarantino, Austin, and the Alamo

My first ever experience at The Original Alamo Draft House was pretty spectacular.  Good Ol’ Boys Night, Revenge Night, and Guys-On-A-Mission War Movie Night presented by Quentin Tarantino.  That trip was as gift from my wife Jenn.  That kind of gift is one that lets you know just how right you were with the decision you made to hook up with someone.

Below are a few photos I took at QT5, my very first experience with the Alamo Draft House.  There’s a separate page with audio recordings of Quentin Tarantino’s introductions to each one of the movies.  The movie themes are mentioned above.  Revenge Night in particular was really something to look back on when Kill Bill came out and you knew exactly what his inspirations were.  I’m sure I’ll be thinking about those same things when Inglorious Bastards finally makes it to the screen.

My first glance up the stairwell
Damn, how long do I have to wait?
Sweet!  QT5!  That’s why I’m here!

Sweet!  Oh wait, I have to leave before that. DAMN!
